A Hidden Thai Food Gem in Famille Station, Seoul


If you’ve lived in Korea for any length of time, there’s no doubt that you’ve heard of or have been to the Express Bus Terminal. It’s one of Seoul’s busiest transportation hubs and a surprisingly great spot to grab a bite, especially if you know where to look—like Buddha’s Belly in Famille Station. You can purchase tickets for a bus that leads anywhere in the peninsula and stop in for various purchases at the indoor Fashion Street.

Where Is Buddha’s Belly Located in Seoul?


Did you know about the secret eatery area called Famille Station Food Court? This delicious surprise is tucked away behind Shinsegae and the boarding area for the buses. It contains a variety of restaurant choices with international themes, including Buddha’s Belly—an authentic Thai restaurant in Seoul. It’s organized as an airy mall filled with eateries, but you’ll have to go on a little treasure hunt to find it.

How to Get to Buddha’s Belly: Directions from Express Bus Terminal


From the Express Bus Terminal Metro Station (Line 3, 7, 9), take Exit 4. Head toward the Food Hall of Shinsegae Department Store, pass the bus boarding areas, and enter Famille Station. Buddha’s Belly is located within the food court area.
